Vernon Broughton Talks Alabama Offer

2020 prospect, Vernon Broughton, had a great camp and now holds an offer from Alabama.

Broughton found out about his offer from the head honcho himself.

“They called me to Nick Saban’s office and we talked from there,” Broughton said. “The offer made me felt both overwhelmed and excited.”

The Houston-native plays both tight end and defensive end on his high school team. The Tide like him at defensive end. He holds offers from Baylor, Georgia, Grambling and most recently, Oklahoma.

At 6-feet-6-inches and 221 pounds, this guy is a scrappy rusher. He fights inside the trenches to make his presence felt. His size gives him a huge advantage.

Alabama’s coaching staff will look to add some talented defensive lineman in their 2020 recruiting class as Raekwon Davis and Isiah Buggs are both expected to have a breakout season and move on to the NFL after this season. Touchdown Alabama Magazine will keep you updated on Broughton’s recruitment.
