Alabama LB Commit is Excited to Reunite With Former Teammate

2019 4-Star running back, Keilan Robinson, verbally committed to Alabama on Wednesday and Alabama commit, Shane Lee, instantly got excited.

Robinson’s decision means Lee and Robinson will be teammates once again. This time around they both will be attending the University of Alabama.

“We played together during my sophomore year at St. John’s,” Lee said.

Although Lee and Robinson played on different sides of the ball, Lee knows what Robinson will bring to Tuscaloosa.

“I think he’ll bring passion and toughness,” Lee added. “He’s a smart player and a great person to be around.”

Robinson’s passion and toughness jump out on film. He is a tenacious runner and is always looking to gain that extra yard or two. He may be short at 5-feet-9-inches but he sure makes up for it with his unwillingness to let one person tackle him.

This kid is also knowledgeable about the game of football. He has great vision and knows how to let his lead blockers do some of the work for him. He is also very versatile. Alabama could use him in both the pass and run game, similar to the way they used Josh Jacobs last season.

Alabama’s 2019 recruiting class has 17 commits and is ranked No.1 in the nation. They will look to keep this momentum going and hopefully grab some more commitments before the Summer ends. As always, Touchdown Alabama Magazine will keep you updated on everything Alabama football.
