Practice report: New look in secondary, UA ramps up intensity for Tigers

When Nick Saban takes ownership of a bad performance, it is followed with him being colorful toward his players in practice for the next week. He and the rest of Alabama’s coaching staff ripped into a few guys today – including veteran leaders like Christian Miller, Anfernee Jennings and Jamey Mosely at outside linebacker.

Junior inside linebacker Mack Wilson shared a post on Twitter as he took responsibility for the way the defense played, despite a 65-31 win over Arkansas.  

Communication is important for a Saban-coached defense to be successful and the six-time national champion stress it hard. With the Crimson Tide focused on securing a homecoming victory against Missouri, yours truly has observations from Tuesday’s practice.
