He has been a little overshadowed by Matt Corral, but he is fine.

Bryce Young has never been bothered by noise. His work ethic guided him to national championships in high school, a five-star rating, and the starting quarterback job at Alabama. He is at the forefront of the Heisman Trophy race with Corral of Ole Miss, and Saturday’s game is his chance to be the leader. Some people have Corral as the complete package, but Young is tied for second in touchdowns (15) for college football. He possesses strong pocket awareness and extends plays with his athleticism too.

Before a marquee SEC matchup, the Crimson Tide’s Twitter account released a hype video with Young narrating it.

The sophomore talks about blocking out noise.

He did it against the Florida Gators at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Despite the pressure of the moment, Young tossed three scores and led the Tide to a 31-29 win. Noise has been made all week about Mississippi coming into Bryant-Denny Stadium and pulling out a win. Young’s performance can prevent it from happening.

He is set to quiet the noise at 2:30 p.m. on CBS.
