4-Star ATH KingJoseph Edwards ‘very excited’ to visit Alabama after picking up offer

KingJoseph Edwards picked up an offer from Alabama football Thursday, and he is scheduled to visit Alabama in a few weeks.

The Crimson Tide are the 17th D1 program to offer the Georgia product. Edwards garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites, and he is considered one of the top athletes in the 2024 recruiting class. Alabama’s cornerbacks coach Travaris Robinson informed Edwards of his offer from the Tide.

“Coach T Rob contacted me about a month ago, and he told me he liked my playing style, and he had his eyes on me,” Edwards told Touchdown Alabama. “I reached out to him Thursday to follow up with him, and he offered me. Words can not describe how I felt. I used to pray for days like this.”

The four-star recruit went on to discuss how he felt about the Alabama program.

“They are a national powerhouse,” Edwards said. “They are stacked with expertise and skills. I can not wait to see them in action on April 6.”

Edwards is also looking forward to meeting Nick Saban during his visit to Tuscaloosa next month.

“He is a football genius,” said Edwards. “His reputation speaks for itself. I will get to meet him on my visit, and I am very excited.”

The new Alabama target currently stands at 6-foot-5, and he weighs 240 pounds. As a sophomore, he flashed as an edge rusher and as a tight end. However, his natural position may be defensive end or outside linebacker.
