He is more than ready to show his deep ball accuracy in games in the fall, but Tua Tagovailoa is off to a strong start for the Miami Dolphins in organized team activities or OTAs.

OTAs are when NFL teams get the most extensive work before training camp begins in July.

The practices are the final phase of offseason workouts.

According to several beat reporters for the Dolphins, Tagovailoa accounted for multiple touchdowns. He tossed a 45 to 50-yard dart to wide receiver Tyreek Hill for a score, but the marquee highlight was an 80-yard touchdown from Tagovailoa to Preston Williams. Tagovailoa has chemistry with Jaylen Waddle, Williams, and Mike Gesicki, but he is growing an electric connection with Hill. Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network said Tagovailoa ‘had a few nice deep balls’ to playmakers. He connected with Gesicki on a 20-yard pass down the sideline that had zip on it. Hill made several YAC plays (yards after catch) off passes from Tagovailoa.

Miami has a chance to have an incredible offense if things continue to click.

Tagovailoa took a step forward in looking to prove his critics wrong about his arm.
