He was the booming voice behind the scenes of six national championships in the Nick Saban era. Cochran, a special teams coordinator, had been going through a personal struggle at Georgia. He left the program for “mental health” reasons, but Cochran shared on social media what the issues had been. He was battling alcohol addiction, but the man behind the “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!” chant earned a year of victory. According to his Twitter, Cochran posted his sobriety chip for being one year sober.
