Jalen Hale knows when he is going to commit and when he is going back to the University of Alabama.

Hale is rated as a four-star wide receiver, and he attends Longview High School in Texas. He plans to announce his commitment on Sept. 22. Alabama will get him on campus for an official visit on the weekend of Sept. 3 when they play Utah State.

The Texas product said he is looking forward to enjoying himself on his visit to UA.

“I am looking forward to enjoying the area and watching them play,” Hale told Touchdown Alabama. “That is what is going to be big for me. I actually get to see how they are going to use their wide receivers. From what I have been watching from Alabama, they are like that. They put wide receivers in the league and they are going to produce.”

Hale also said he has a close relationship with Alabama’s staff.

“I talk with coach Saban and coach Wiggins a lot,” said Hale. “My relationship with them has been close since my sophomore year.”

Texas will host Hale for an official visit after the Tide host him.

“I know what coach Sark is made of,” Hale said when discussing Texas. “I know what he does. He is going to throw the ball and feed his receivers. I feel Texas will be a good fit for me with how they use their wide receivers.”

Georgia hosted Hale for an official visit in June, and he believes in their ability to run and pass the football.

“Georgia has been a run team, but they can put the football in the air,” said Hale. “If their run game is not working, I think they can get me the football. I think they will be a good fit for me too. They make physical wide receivers as well.”

With a commitment date locked in, Hale is searching for the place his heart tells him he belongs.

“I got to feel comfortable when I make this decision,” Hale said. “This is a lifetime decision, so when I make this choice, my heart got to tell me it is the right choice.”

The four-star prospect currently stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs 185 pounds, according to Longview’s 2021 football roster. He finished his junior season with 50 receptions for 1,154 yards and 14 touchdowns. Hale gave defenses problems with his route running and ability to adjust to the football in the air.
