Bryce Young is Alabama’s returning starter at quarterback, but Jalen Milroe has Crimson Tide fans wanting to see him more.

He will receive opportunities in mop-up duty, but will Nick Saban and Bill O’Brien (offensive coordinator) allow the native Texan to run the offense successfully? Milroe displayed improvement in his short/intermediate and deep ball accuracy in spring practice. He tossed a 52-yard touchdown to wide receiver Christian Leary at Bryant-Denny Stadium in the spring game.

Milroe got fans excited when he posted a video to Instagram of him dominating the offseason weight program.

He power-cleaned a set of weights through the floor in Alabama’s training facility. As a former four-star, Milroe carries a very strong upper and lower body. He possesses the athleticism, mobility, and arm talent to be an elite quarterback in college football.

Young is considered to be the No. 1 overall quarterback and possibly the No. 1 overall player for the 2023 NFL Draft.

Alabama has to see what its future can be with Milroe and he must be used more this fall.
