Mike McDaniel is doing what he promised upon getting hired as Miami’s head football coach.

The 38-year-old told Tua Tagovailoa via FaceTime that he will make him a star in the National Football League.

He has brought veteran offensive linemen, explosive offensive weapons, and he drafted marquee talent to enhance Tagovailoa’s skill set. McDaniel, a disciple of Kyle Shanahan, is a young wizard on offense. He was on the Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz and gave Tagovailoa the ultimate compliment for a quarterback. As he enters his third season, Miami players have been encouraging national media to expect Tagovailoa’s rise. McDaniel raved about how the Hawaiian throws the ‘most accurate ball.’

“His skill set is crazy,” McDaniel said about Tagovailoa. “The dude is right-handed. He’s right-handed, but he throws lefty. When he throws the ball, every lefty I have ever been with the ball tails, he has the most accurate, most catchable ball I have ever seen. My job is to make sure his best years as a football player are right in front of him now. That’s my job with everyone.”

Everyone will watch the Dolphins in the fall to see if McDaniel’s experiment with Tagovailoa works.
