He has brought explosive playmaking abilities from Georgia Tech to Tuscaloosa, Ala. Gibbs has the Crimson Tide with an elite runner, receiver, and return specialist. He’s achieved back-to-back 100+ yard rushing performances versus Arkansas (206) and Texas A&M (154) in victories for the Tide. Gibbs touched the ball 25 times against the Aggies last week for 186 yards, including 7.3 yards per rushing attempt. He earned a spot on the Paul Hornung Honor Roll for his performance in week six of the season.

The Paul Hornung Award goes to the nation’s most versatile player in college football. Gibbs made his debut on the Honor Roll against Texas in week two. He led Alabama’s receivers with nine catches for 74 yards and a touchdown. The 5-foot-11, 200-pounder is the Crimson Tide’s leading rusher (64 carries, 532 yards) and top pass catcher (22 receptions, three touchdowns).

Gibbs takes on Tennessee this weekend at Neyland Stadium.
