It was a historic day for Jalen Hurts as he not only received a well-deserved contract extension with the Eagles but set a new benchmark for future deals to come.
Hurts received a five-year $255 million deal including $179.3 million guaranteed making him the highest-paid player in the history of the NFL.
Many have learned about Hurts’ story over the past several seasons which first began back at the University of Alabama which is a place he continues to hold dear.
