A former offensive lineman for the University of Alabama received good news Monday.

Jedrick Wills had the fifth-year option of his rookie contract picked up by the Cleveland Browns. He got selected at No. 10 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. Wills has started 35 games in his career, earning recognition for the Pro Football Writers Association’s All-Rookie Team. He arrived in the Crimson Tide’s top-ranked 2017 signing class as a high-prized recruit from Kentucky.

Wills played 11 games as a freshman, helping the Tide to a College Football Playoff National Championship.

He will continue his career with the Browns.
