On Thursday, he entertained reporters and Crimson Tide fans on his “Hey Coach” show. Saban has been pleased with the progress of the quarterback room. MTSU has a veteran defense, including elite players in the secondary. The Crimson Tide’s passing game needs to be sharp at Bryant-Denny Stadium. We will see who starts the matchup against the Blue Raiders, but Alabama expects to play multiple quarterbacks. All three are auditioning for an opportunity to be the concrete starter.

“All three guys have made significant improvement,” Saban said about the quarterbacks. “We’d like to play more than one guy in the game. I’ve told the guy that’s gonna start the game, ‘We want you to play well enough so we have an opportunity to play all the guys at the position.”

Jalen Milroe, Ty Simpson, and Tyler Buchner are the quarterbacks.
