Alabama football noticed its pass rush return in back-to-back games this season.
The Crimson Tide totaled eight sacks and 20 quarterback hurries against South Florida and Mississippi.
Alabama’s outside linebackers — Dallas Turner and Chris Braswell — dominated offensive linemen for the Bulls and Rebels as it allowed 13 points combined to both teams. Turner posted 4.5 sacks and six tackles for loss, while Braswell had 2.5 sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss, and a quarterback hurry. Both came to the University of Alabama as five-star recruits and have the Tide trending forward defensively. Does Alabama have the best pass-rush duo in the nation with Turner and Braswell? Pro Football Focus, a website that dives into the analytics of college and pro football, believes the Tide is back atop the league in pass rushing.

Turner and Braswell are the only pass-rush duo with 20+ quarterback hurries.
Turner has an opportunity to become a top-10 NFL Draft pick. Braswell, if he continues to produce, could play himself into a high-round selection for the 2024 draft. Both look to have success against Mississippi State at Davis Wade Stadium.
