Nick Saban retired from coaching football at the University of Alabama, but we he have four new first-round draft picks?

A few NFL Draft analysts have put mock draft projections together. Lance Zierlein, an analyst for NFL.com, has four Crimson Tide star players projected as first-rounders in April. He has two players, Terrion Arnold and JC Latham, going in the top 10 at Nos. 8 and 10 respectively. Zierlein has Arnold projected to the Los Angeles Chargers and Latham to the New York Jets.

Dallas Turner, an edge rusher, projects at No. 16 to the Seattle Seahawks. He led Alabama’s defense in tackles for loss (14.5), sacks (10), and quarterback hurries (13) in 2o23. Turner also had two forced fumbles and a pass breakup to go with 53 tackles.

Zierlein has Kool-Aid McKinstry, a cornerback, projected at No. 22 to the Philadelphia Eagles.

If all four go in the first round, Saban would have produced 48 first-round picks since 2008.
