Alabama football is preparing to face a pair of former players on offense and defense when they take on Florida State Saturday to open the 2025 season.
Those players are Seminoles running back, Roydell Williams, and the Florida State’s defensive back, Earl Little Jr. Williams and Little Jr. were both listed as starters on Florida State’s week one depth chart on Monday ahead of the Seminoles’ season opener against Alabama. This announcement comes after the two decided to take their talents to Tallahassee in 2024 after both originally signed with the Tide as respective four-star recruits coming out of high school.
During their time in Tuscaloosa, Williams served as a complementary back on offense and rushed for 560 yards and five touchdowns. Meanwhile, Little Jr appeared in 11 games for the Tide and recorded two tackles as a primary contributor on special teams.
