The Alabama Crimson Tide certainly had a lot to work on at practice this week following an ugly 26-10 loss on the road in Knoxville last Saturday.

Alabama has suffered back-to-back losses for the first time since 2007. The Tide’s offense has been unable to get any momentum going across the last two weeks, and defensively Alabama missed an eye-opening 23 total tackles in their loss to Tennessee last weekend.

Crimson Tide linebacker Caleb Woodson took a moment to comment on the energy at practice following the losses, as Woodson claims his teammates have played at a high level this week.

“There’s always energy on the practice field.” Woodson said. “All the guys come to work, just amplifying that energy.”

Woodson continued to reveal the points of emphasis that the team has focused on prior to facing the Aggies.

“Just doing our job. Everyone got to do their one-elevens, so if everyone just does their job at a high level then we will be successful.”

The star linebacker was then asked who has stepped up at practice this week.

“I would say me, Bray, Devan Thompkins. There’s a lot of guys pouring in, we all want this. I’m not on the offensive side of the ball, I’m not out there at practice. But I’m sure Keelon, Josh Ford, a bunch of guys on that side of the ball. I know we got a bunch of leaders on that side of the ball as well.”

Woodson has been an excellent addition to the Tide’s defense this season following his time at Virginia Tech. Alabama’s defense is set to face an extremely talented quarterback this weekend in Marcel Reed despite his struggles this year, and the unit as a whole will need to be at their best once again in Week 8.
