Pete Golding is expected to be the permanent head football coach at Ole Miss, per multiple reports.
Golding was the Rebels’ defensive coordinator. He coached at Alabama from 2018 to 2022. He served as the Tide’s defensive coordinator when Alabama won the 2020 National Championship.
This is Golding’s first head coaching job.
Lane Kiffin is expected to become LSU’s next head football coach. Ole Miss remains in position to make the College Football Playoff.
