Kickoff time announced for Alabama vs. Oklahoma CFP matchup

Shortly following the announcement of the College Football Playoff bracket, the kickoff time and television network for Alabama’s first round matchup against Oklahoma was set.

The Crimson Tide will kickoff against the Sooners on Friday, December 19 at 7 pm CT inside Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC.

This will be the second time Alabama will square off against Oklahoma as the two programs clashed inside Bryant-Denny Stadium just four weeks ago. Brent Venables and company were able to hand the Crimson Tide its second loss of the season with a 23-21 win.

Despite nearly doubling the Sooners’ offensive production, Alabama handed the ball away three times during the November matchup which included an 87-yard pick six by Eli Bowen off of Ty Simpson.

Now the winner of the rematch will head out west to play top ranked Indiana at the Rose Bowl.
