Alabama football’s tight end, Josh Cuevas is expected to play vs. Oklahoma, but he is expected to be on a pitch count, according to ESPN’s Holly Rowe.
The tight end is expected to be on a snap pitch count of around 20 to 25 snaps, per Rowe. This will be his first action since having a big performance against the Sooners in November.
Ty Simpson discussed what Cuevas brings to the Crimson Tide’s offense earlier this week.
“Josh is an excellent player, so not only is he great in the pass game, but he’s great in the run game as well,” Simpson said. “Being able to just see him on the field and have him have his presence is just remarkable, especially having in the huddle, just a different type of vibe when he’s in there. I am very excited about that.”
Alabama and Oklahoma get after one another at 7 p.m. on Friday.
