Alabama football’s freshmen early enrollees gained some attention during the media viewing period of Alabama football’s Sunday practice ahead of the Rose Bowl.
There are several future members of the Crimson Tide participating in Rose Bowl prep with the team. The staff at Touchdown Alabama was able to put eyes on several of them during Alabama’s latest practice.
The first player, who immediately stood out, was Cederian Morgan, whom Alabama’s offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb said was doing an awesome job on the scout team. Morgan at 6-foot-4, flashed his dependable hands during the period.

The Tide’s early enrollee at quarterback is Jett Thomalla. He looks every bit of 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds as he spun it in his very first Alabama practice.

Alabama has quite a few young defenders working out with them before they travel to California. Two of those young players are Zyan Gibson and Jorden Edmonds at corner back. Edmonds is a former five-star defensive back and Gibson is a former four-star.

A pair of young defensive linemen were spotted on Sunday, including Corey Howard and Jamarion Matthews. It was hard to miss Howard, who stands at 6-foot-6 and weighs 245 pounds.
Corey Howard at 6-foot-6 and 245 pounds is definitely one of the reasons Kane Wommack refers to getting early enrollees on campus to Christmas Day.
