Touchdown Alabama has confirmed Alabama football’s legacy defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. plans to be back in Tuscaloosa next season with the Tide.
Kirkpatrick played in eight games for the Tide in 2025 before he was indefinitely suspended after he was arrested on three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of attempting to elude and speeding.
The sophomore was making strides on the field before he was suspended. He was earning meaningful snaps in SEC play on defense. Unfortunately for him, his season ended against South Carolina.
Kirkpatrick now has an opportunity to redeem himself on and off the field.
