Tim Keenan is pumped to see fellow Birmingham, Alabama native and Tide returning defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman return to the field.
Keenan was asked which young Alabama player he feels will step up next season for Alabama, and he was quick to refer to Beaman.
“Definitely Jeremiah Beaman,” Keenan said via Jyesha Nance. “He went down early in the season due to his ACL or whatnot, but he’s going to come back and make a tremendous impact.”
Beaman missed most of the Crimson Tide’s 2025 football season after he went down with the injury soon after starting the first game of the season against Florida State, when Keenan was sidelined with an injury. The former four-star started at nose tackle and finished the game with one quarterback hurry.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder has actually recorded a quarterback hurry in the two games he has played meaningful snaps in during his short Alabama career so far.
Alabama DL Jeremiah Beaman recorded a QB hurry in each of his 2 games of meaningful action.
After bulking up to 300 pounds, coaches & players had high hopes for him in 2025 before his injury.
Have him among 5 returning players poised to break out. https://t.co/EFMRmW08XJ pic.twitter.com/gHlqcYi4IG
