Alabama offensive lineman no longer with the team

Alabama head football coach Kalen DeBoer told reporters during Monday’s press conference that offensive lineman Chris Booker is no longer with the team.

“Booker, right now, is not with our team,” DeBoer said.

Booker is a 6-foot-4, 288-pound offensive lineman from Atlanta, and he was a four-star lineman in the 2026 class. He was the No. 221 prospect nationally and the No. 10 interior lineman in the 247Sports composite rankings.

The freshman did not travel with the team to Kentucky, and he was not seen at any point last Saturday during Alabama’s game vs. Florida State.

Alabama will host South Carolina this Saturday at 6 p.m. CT. The game will air on ESPN.
