Alabama tacked on its third win of the season before starting Southeastern Conference action.
The Crimson Tide got a 63-7 victory over Louisiana-Monroe, despite its offense going stale in the first quarter.
Alabama had a 35-7 lead at halftime, but it scored 21 points off its defense and special teams. Bill O’Brien had two offensive touchdown drives, including one before halftime. Alabama needs to grow in some more areas, but it developed a few things of dominant football against the Warhawks. The Tide now hosts Vanderbilt on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT.

Bryce Young – [B]
Bryce Young used the matchup against Louisiana-Monroe to climb higher on the career leader board for Alabama quarterbacks.
He is now ninth all-time for passing yards (5,672), third all-time for passing touchdowns (57), and fourth all-time for total scores (62) in school history. Young completed 13 of 18 passes for 236 yards and four total touchdowns. He connected with Traeshon Holden, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Amari Niblack for scores, but he also recorded his second career multi-interception game.
