Jett Washington made his way to Tuscaloosa over the weekend for the first time since earning an offer from the Tide.
Washington is one of the nation’s top 2026 safety prospect, with a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites. The junior calls the thrilling game one his ‘craziest’ experiences.
“It was great, probably the craziest game I’ve ever witnessed,” Washington told Touchdown Alabama.
The Bishop Gorman product got an up close look at the Tide’s defensive backs while watching the game.
“Their defense is elite and have great defensive backs,” said Washington. “They fly around and make plays.”
Alabama offered the junior in August.
“They are one of the Alphas of college football, always have good teams and produce great players,” Washington told Touchdown Alabama.
Washington is listed at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds. He finished his sophomore season with 37 tackles, three interceptions and four pass breaks up as a safety.
