Former Alabama player feels Tide ‘does not deserve to win’ due to discipline issues

Randy Sartin - USA Today Sports

Discipline issues are hurting Alabama football under Kalen DeBoer.

Malachi Moore had a tirade in fourth quarter versus Vanderbilt in the Crimson Tide losing that matchup, and Kendrick Law encountered a poor moment in discipline against Tennessee. The veteran wide receiver punched a Volunteers’ player late in the fourth quarter and was called for an unsportsmanlike penalty. Alabama suffered a 17-24 loss at Neyland Stadium, making its second straight defeat in Knoxville, Tenn. The Tide had 17 penalties in 2022 against the Vols and 15 last week in the loss.

Will Lowery, a former two-time BCS National Champion at Alabama, is very disappointed in his Alma mater.

The former safety said the Crimson Tide ‘does not deserve to win’ with its actions on the field. He said the lack of discipline is not how things are done at Alabama and the team has to be better.

Alabama has to become a more disciplined team soon.
