Kalen DeBoer travels to Tiger Stadium, better known as “Death Valley,” next Saturday for the first time as Alabama’s head coach to battle Louisiana State University. Brian Kelly is coming off a 23-28 loss to Texas A&M, but the Tigers are now on a bye week.

LSU earned a 32-31 overtime victory over the Tide in 2022 at Tiger Stadium. It was Alabama’s second loss of the regular season with Bryce Young at quarterback, sending the Tide to the Allstate Sugar Bowl for its postseason.
Alabama avenged itself last season at Bryant-Denny Stadium with a 42-28 win over LSU. Jalen Milroe had an impressive performance, especially as a runner. He collected 155 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 20 attempts.
Alabama will play the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC.

In the Nick Saban era, the Alabama-LSU game seemed to always have major Southeastern Conference Championship Game implications and national championship implications. Both schools are still alive to make the 12-team College Football Playoff, but neither can afford a third loss. Alabama will be in playoff elimination games for the remainder of the season.
We will see if the Tide brings its mentality from the Missouri game to Tiger Stadium next week.
