Alabama’s defensive line has continued to make improvements from week-to-week. One player that has helped the unit’s continuous improvement is redshirt freshman Jordan Renaud.
The former four-star recruit has been a bright spot along Alabama’s defensive line in the past two weeks. He has seen an uptick in the number of snaps that he has played, and it seems to be paying off.
In the past two games, Renaud has recorded six tackles and 0.5 sack. He has been a rotational defensive lineman oftentimes rotating with Tim Smith Jr. and Damon Payne.
The more, the merrier in terms of Alabama’s defensive line rotation. It is crucial that Alabama can play as many defensive linemen as possible moving forward. In return, it allows more players to get experience and earn meaningful snaps. Renaud is one of the players that seems to have earned more playing time moving forward.
