CBS Sports rank top featured running backs in SEC

CBS Sports’ National College Football Writer Shehan Jeyarajah ranked Jam Miller among the top featured running backs in the SEC ahead of the 2025 season. 

Miller returns to Alabama after rushing for 668 yards and seven touchdowns during the 2024 season. Jeyarajah has Miller ranked at No. 10 entering the season. Oklahoma’s Jaydn Ott is at No. 1 on Jeyarajah’s list. He has Caden Durham (LSU), Le’Veon Moss (Texas A&M), Quintrevion Wisner (Texas) and Nate Frazier (Georgia) rounding out his top five. 

Jadan Baugh of Florida, Ahmad Hardy of Missouri, Davon Booth of Mississippi State and Dante Dowdell of Kentucky are also in front of Miller on the list.

Miller is expected to be the Crimson Tide’s lead back in 2025. The Tide will for sure have a new signal caller under center this fall which should allow Miller an opportunity to get more carries.
