Nick Saban meets with family of 5-Star WR during his official visit

Nick Saban has become a staple in Alabama football’s recruiting efforts this weekend with Cederian Morgan and his family sharing they spent time with “DA GOAT.”

Morgan is a 2026 five-star recruit and is one of the top wide receiver prospects in the country. He is currently officially visiting Alabama ahead of his July 2nd commitment date. The five-star is set to choose between Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Colorado, Florida and Georgia.

The Crimson Tide have been consistently pushing hard for him.

“They got a winning tradition,” Morgan said while previously discussing Alabama. “The receivers that came through there have been great at the college level and in the league. And then Coach Shep as a receiver coach, he is one of the best to do it. The energy he brings makes me want to go hard every day.”

Morgan feels there is a lot he brings to the table that will benefit the program he chooses on next month.

“I’m a big physical receiver, but I feel like what separates me is that I can run,” Morgan said. “I got strong hands. I’m just an athlete. I love the game of football. I can go jump up and get a ball, and I can win on my feet also. So that’s what I think separates me from other big receivers.”
