Cederian Morgan plans to help bring championships to the teams he suits up for during the next few years.
Morgan is gearing up for his senior season at Benjamin Russell, and he is currently verbally committed to the Crimson Tide.
The five-star chose Alabama over Auburn, Colorado, Florida, Georgia and several other programs. Morgan told reporters he wants to secure championships at the high school and collegiate level in the future.
“We still coming,” Morgan said when asked what his statement to college football is after committing to the Tide. “We finna bring Alabama back to that National Championship.”
The last time Alabama won a National Championship was in 2020. Benjamin Russell has not won a state championship in football since 2001, but Morgan wants to help change that.
Alabama was able to secure a commitment from Morgan by recruiting him for more than a year. He looked back on his recruitment after his commitment ceremony on Wednesday.
