Noah Moss has announced a commitment to North Carolina State.
Moss is a product of St. Michael Catholic in Fairhope, Alabama, and he currently garners a three-star rating from multiple recruiting sites.
The talented running back, who rushed for more than 2,000 yards as a senior, was once committed to South Alabama. He backed off his pledge to the Jaguars recently and North Carolina State became an immediate player for him.
“It just came about quickly, but it just seems like that was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down,” Moss told Touchdown Alabama. “It seemed like a good path that God had opened up for me, and it’s one of those things I just think I’ll be taken care of up there, and it seems like a great thing for me.”
Moss’ head coach Phillip Rivers played at North Carolina State. The respect his head coach has for the current Wolfpack coaching staff played a role in Moss’ decision.
“I really like them,” Moss said. “I think what put me at peace with it, not having spent a lot of time with them, was seeing how much respect that coach Rivers had for those guys and obviously, him being my coach and the man that he is, I have a lot of respect for him. So, just seeing his respect for them. I know I’ll be taken care of by those guys.”
