Five teams to challenge Alabama football in 2019 regular season

The unofficial countdown to college football is a little over one month away, as Southeastern Conference media days is coming. For the University of Alabama, the goal is to return to the College Football Playoff National Championship stage and reclaim is title as champions. 

While it does not have the toughest regular season schedule, the Crimson Tide does not have a cakewalk for next fall. It will face Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Auburn and South Carolina away from Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Alabama has dropped two games versus the Tigers inside Jordan-Hare Stadium since 2013.

Nick Saban’s bunch will hoist Ole Miss, Tennessee, Arkansas and LSU at home. The Bayou Bengals are winless in its last eight games against the Tide, following its 9-6 win over the program in 2011 – which was called “Game of the Century.”
