Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa shares a message for fans attending senior day

Butch Dill - USA TODAY Sports

Even though he won’t play on Saturday, the leader of Alabama football expects to be at Bryant-Denny Stadium for the Crimson Tide’s final home game of the regular season and he wants the fans to be there too.

Nick Saban and Alabama will honor its senior class this weekend, as the team battles Western Carolina at 11:00 a.m. This a class that has won over 60 games in its career – including a College Football Playoff National Championship win over Georgia.

While the majority of this class arrived as freshmen in 2016, the trio of Anfernee Jennings, Joshua McMillon and Matt Womack came in 2015. These three have a trio of Southeastern Conference Championship (2015, 2016, 2018) and two national title rings for 2015 and 2017.

Tua Tagovailoa loves each player on this team, but for this group of seniors, he shares one message to fans.

Since his surgery in Houston, Texas and even prior to that, the junior quarterback has been in great spirits.

He has a sense of toughness about himself and he’ll do whatever he can to have an effective recovery.

For now, Tagovailoa wants to see his teammates.
