Sit ’em, or start ’em: Alabama Fantasy Football Stars

Whose fantasy football team is doing well?

Not mine!

Now that I’m done complaining, let’s take a look at some fantasy football players who suited up for Alabama. Who’s worth starting? Who’s worth sitting?

Start ’em

Kenyan Drake: I say start him. He’s dynamic as they come. I know he’s in a stable of running backs right now, but he saw the most snaps out the four backs last week (27). He may be an RB2 option to many, but I see his value climbing. The Dolphins will duke it out with the Bengals, a team that ranks 18th in run defense. Maybe, he’ll have a breakout game.

Mark Ingram: Consider starting Ingram. Last week, he had a touchdown catch. Although the Saints are 0-3, Ingram is trying his best to make plays out there. He rushed 15 times for 77 yards, and had four catches last week. The Chargers have been pretty stingy in the run game. I think Mark is great target out of the backfield.

Sit em’

Eddie Lacy: Pretty easy logic. Packers have a bye week.

Julio Jones: I promise you won’t regret this. It’s just not the time to start Julio right now. He’s due for a big game, but he’s nursing some nagging injuries, and the Falcons have proved they can win without him. Shop around for some other options, but don’t trade him yet.

Amari Cooper: Not this week guys. Since game one, he’s only totaled 270 yards, and zero touchdowns. The Ravens defense has held their own for the most part. I don’t think Coop finds his groove in this game.

Derrick Henry: Don’t bother. He’s only carried the ball 24 times, for 88 yards. I do believe that in due time his role will increase.
