He was not featured offensively in the last three weeks prior to Saturday night, but the Dallas Cowboys turned to wide receiver Amari Cooper against the Seattle Seahawks.

The former University of Alabama standout turned in his third 100-yard performance as a member of the Cowboys, in helping the franchise earn a 24-22 win. He recorded 106 yards receiving on seven passes and averaged 15.1 yards per catch. Cooper had three catches that resulted in first downs – including a 34-yard grab in the fourth quarter that led to a 1-yard touchdown run from Ezekiel Elliot, to give Dallas a 17-14 lead at AT&T Stadium.

After a 3-5 start to this season, the addition of Cooper helped the Cowboys win seven of its last eight games as it made the playoffs at 10-6 and secured an NFC East title.

He has collected 831 receiving yards and six touchdowns with Dallas, while posting 1,111 yards overall between the Cowboys and Raiders. Cooper’s abilities as a route runner and his smooth instincts have guided him to his third 1,000-yard year in the National Football League.

He and the Cowboys will face either the Los Angeles Rams or New Orleans Saints in the next round. Should the matchup be against the Saints, Dallas did earn a 13-10 win earlier this season.
