The Tide are No.1 with 1,503 first place votes. Clemson comes in at No. 2 and Georgia sits at No. 3.
Nick Saban and Alabama are set to begin play in October on Saturday when they take on the Texas A&M Aggies in College Station, Texas. The Aggies will not be ranked headed into this matchup.
