WWE legend, Ric Flair trolls Alabama football

Jasen Vinlove - USA TODAY Sports

Everyone else has fun at the expense of Alabama football not winning.

As Nick Saban prepares to coach the Crimson Tide to a bowl victory and bounce back next season, a legendary name in a different venue has decided to be the latest person to troll the program. Ric Flair, a 16-time champion and two-time Hall of Fame of World Wrestling Entertainment, posted a photo to Twitter of Alabama’s 2019 national title shirt.

The shirt has nothing on it.

A native of Lawrenceville, Ga., Flair is a huge Bulldogs fan. While his team has not won a national championship since 1980, he is getting huge entertainment out of watching Alabama fall. With Georgia battling LSU on Saturday for a Southeastern Conference title, all will see if the Dawgs can pull it out.

This is the second time Saban has gone back-to-back years without winning a title.

It happened in 2013 and 2014 for the Tide, but it returned to the top of the mountain in 2015. With him on the recruiting trail and potentially making other moves, Saban expects to be back on top and hoisting the CFP Trophy soon.
