The back-and-forth banter between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Florida Gators players has not slowed since last Saturday’s SEC Championship Game showdown in which the Tide downed the Gators 52-46.
Recently, Florida’s Trey Dean III posted a photo on Instagram of his would-be game-changing interception, which prompted responses from Tide players questioning his decision to post, considering Metchie changed the fate of that play in a matter of seconds.

While it doesn’t appear Metchie responded directly on Dean’s post, he decided to make a post of his own, which has garnered more than 28,000 likes and over 1,000 comments. The caption to his post was short and simple, which reads, “Like I said, medicine for dat🤒.” Additionally, several Tide players responded to Metchie’s post with entertaining jabs of their own.
