Alabama lands several names — including six on first-team — to Pro Football Focus’ All-SEC Team

Alabama football is not in the College Football Playoff, but its players are getting recognized for honors.

Pro Football Focus unveiled its All-SEC Team on Tuesday, and several Crimson Tide players made it.

Bryce Young (quarterback), Jahmyr Gibbs (running back), Will Anderson Jr., (linebacker), Kool-Aid McKinstry (cornerback), Brian Branch (defensive back), and Will Reichard (placekicker) earned first-team selections. Javion Cohen (offensive lineman, now in the transfer portal), Byron Young (defensive lineman), Henry To’oto’o (linebacker), and DeMarcco Hellams (safety) made the second team. Tyler Steen (offensive lineman), JC Latham (offensive lineman), Emil Ekiyor Jr., (offensive lineman), Dallas Turner (linebacker), and Jordan Battle (safety) made the third team.

This year’s Alabama team accomplished 10 wins in the regular season and an Allstate Sugar Bowl berth.

The Crimson Tide takes on Kansas State at 11:00 a.m. CT on New Year’s Eve in New Orleans, La.
