Young, a California native, was incredible for the University of Alabama in three seasons — capturing a Heisman Trophy, becoming a two-time team captain, leading the team to a Southeastern Conference Championship in 2021, and guiding the Crimson Tide to 11 wins in 2022. He also earned a College Football Playoff National Championship as a freshman. He is excited to bring Carolina an elite quarterback, but he spent time entertaining a fellow Heisman winner before training camp starts.

Young posed in a photo with Robert Griffin III at the Nissan Heisman House. Griffin shared the photo on Twitter and said Young could not stop making fun of his outfit. Griffin received the Heisman after the campaign he had at Baylor in 2011.

Griffin is now an analyst for ESPN and is ready to see how Young performs in the league.
