A veteran NFL scout feels unfamiliar with Alabama football’s 2023 offensive playmakers, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Thamel discussed some NFL scouts’ thoughts on the rosters for Alabama and Texas ahead of their Saturday matchup during ESPN’s College Gameday. According to Thamel, one NFL scout feels Alabama’s offense will not be as explosive as they have been in recent years this season.

“I don’t think Alabama is going to be able to score like they have in the past…I don’t know who their quarterback is. I don’t know who their playmakers on offense are,” the scout said, per Thamel.
Alabama’s offensive weapons will have an opportunity to introduce themselves to the scout on Saturday night.
