The University of Alabama is losing a staffer from its football program to a Southeastern Conference school.

Harding Harper, a former Vanderbilt linebacker, is returning to his Alma mater.

According to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, Harper will serve as the Commodores’ director of scouting. He was the Crimson Tide’s director of player personnel in 2023, helping Alabama win an SEC Championship and return to the College Football Playoff.
