He led the league in passer rating, completion percentage, and touchdown passes (24). McCarron had a lot fun playing the game he loves as a starting quarterback. The former fifth-round pick of the 2014 NFL Draft had his second stint with the franchise that originally selected him last season, but McCarron played in one game for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2023. He was released from the team on Wednesday, and it was revealed via multiple reports that McCarron would returning to the Battlehawks for 2024.

The UFL season begins on March 30 as the USFL and XFL have combined.

McCarron was a three-time BCS National Champion (2009, 2011-12) at Alabama, including twice as a starting quarterback.

He is the school’s all-time career leader for passing yards (9,019).
