Jett Thomalla is interested in getting to Alabama for a visit after recently earning an offer from the Crimson Tide.
Thomalla is a 2026 four-star recruit, who is currently committed to Iowa State. He attends Millard South High School in Omaha, Nebraska.
The Crimson Tide offered the signal caller on last week as they showed adding a quarterback to this class is a priority to them.
“They’ve been a top program for a lot of years now,” Thomalla told Touchdown Alabama after earning the offer. “It’s kind of like a kid’s dream to get an offer from a school that big. Just blessed for the opportunity.”
Thomalla’s Alabama offer comes from the Tide’s offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb.
Nick Sheridan, Alabama’s quarterbacks coach, recently saw Thomalla throw in person. A call from both Sheridan and Grubb followed a few days later, informing the Nebraska product of his offer.
A visit to Tuscaloosa is something that is in the works for Thomalla and his family as their contact with Alabama remains consistent.
“Sheridan has called me or my dad or some other person, like my quarterback coach pretty much every day since he came,” Thomalla said. “He shows a lot of interest. We’ll just get down there and meet the rest of the staff from there.”
Thomalla threw for 3,664 yards and 47 touchdowns while completing 70 percent of his passes as a junior. At 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, the four-star can push the ball down the field with great touch on his throws as he appears to throw the football on a rope. He is also quick enough to make defenders miss as he extends plays and keeps his eyes downfield in search of a target.
