Counting down 93 days to Kickoff: Reliving Jonathan Allen’s legendary game against Texas A&M

Alabama Football is 93 days away from kicking off the 2025 season inside Doak-Campbell Stadium against the Florida State Seminoles.

Today, Touchdown Alabama relives a memorable performance from one player that formerly wore No. 93 for the Crimson Tide.

Alabama fans have seen a lot of players have legendary games. Former Alabama defensive lineman, Jonathan Allen’s legendary game came against Texas A&M during the 2016 season.

Allen had two plays that stood out in particular during the game. The Virginia native had a scoop and score, 30-yard touchdown as well as a “Superman” sack in which Allen leapt through the air to sack Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight.

Alabama would end up winning the game by a final score of 33-14.

Allen’s performance against the Aggies will continue to be one of the many memorable moments in Alabama Football history.
