Alabama football’s offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb was impressed with the confidence and consistent clean play the Crimson Tide’s offensive line displayed in their 24-21 victory over Georgia.

The Alabama offensive staff continued their intent to rotate upfront, using eight different linemen throughout the course of the game and only managed to allow one pressure against the Bulldogs’ defensive front. This performance by the Crimson Tide offensive line was easily their best outing of the season.

Grubb met with reporters Monday and shed light on the preparation done by the Alabama offensive line and its staff to ensure success against the Bulldogs.

“When they execute against a defense like Georgia, to all the different pressures, and stunts and looks that they got because I thought Georgia kind’ve emptied the clip a little bit as far as looks and pressures, and things that they did,” Grubb said. “The guys responded. We drug up everything. We were pulling out clips from the 2022 Ohio State game and anything we thought we could possibly see. We put it out there at practice and the guys were ready. So, I think moving forward they know that they can make the adjustments from the sidelines, which is probably as important as anything because there’s gonna be a look we haven’t practiced, and they did a really nice job of that.”

Grubb and the Crimson Tide offensive line will look to continue to build on this positive outing moving forward.
