Pregame notes for Alabama vs. Vanderbilt

The tension is palpable in Tuscaloosa ahead of the SEC clash between No. 10 Alabama and No. 16 Vanderbilt.

Here are a few things to know before kickoff:

– Over the last few games, Alabama’s depth chart has listed an “or” in between kickers Conor Talty and Peter Notaro. Talty has been the starter so far this season, but he’s missed two kicks in critical moments this year, including the ugly miss from 43 yards away against Georgia. If Talty’s struggles continue, Notaro could get a chance in the near future, or Alabama will go for it on fourth down if the circumstances are reasonable.
